| Hatched
larvae or spats spend 15-25 days floating in the water of tanks,and
then advance to the stage of fastening themselves to objects. At this
stage,"collectors" made of artificial fibers are put in the tanks,the
spats settle themselves on the nets. Then they are placed cages and
suspended in the sea. |

Mother
oysters are cultured in various kind of cages in accordance with their
growth.
During culturing,living organisms such as barnacles are removed from
the oyster shells repeatedly. Two years after culturing,oysters fully
mature to become mother oysters. |

| Three
months before the implantation,the oysters are packed in baskets.
The oysters' physiological activity will be slowed and the shock of
the implantation lessened. |
